As a visual artist I paint still life, landscapes and abstracts.
I have been creating art since I was a small child (many children are small), painting Popeye the Sailor with enamel paints on wood, building plastic model cars, building and racing radio control cars and trucks, drawing in colored pencil and graphite, and generally a DIY fix it kind of guy, always working with my hands.
I was born in Baltimore, and raised in the countryside, I've always had conflicting feelings about living in cities vs the countryside. The isolation of my childhood probably helped to foster my creativity as a child. I enjoy using my hands and my brain. I like to create objects that you can hold in your hands. I have lived in Brooklyn, NY, Glasgow and the highlands of Scotland, London, UK, Singapore and Wellington, New Zealand. I enjoy travel and learning about other cultures because I return home with a renewed sense of self and my own roots.

Hello, I am an artist from Baltimore, MD with a BFA degree in Illustration from Towson University. I typically work with a wide range of media, from oil paint and watercolor to digital paint. Additionally, I apply new and creative techniques within my rendering of the whimsical and darker edges of both reality and surreal fantasy.
I am a Maryland artist living in Harford County. My art education consists of art classes at Harford Community College, Towson University, and studio classes at Zoll’s School of Art. I have also taken workshops with local and nationally known artists. I have always loved to create. Coloring as a child, sewing as a young mother, and in more recent years I started to paint.
