I am a mostly self-taught artist and professional flutist. I began painting with oils in 2002 as a high school art class project and have been painting ever since. My formal training is as a flutist--I earned my Master’s degree in flute performance from the University of Illinois, Urbana-Champaign. My work has been shown at numerous events including the Boneyard Arts Festival, the Indi Go Gallery in Champaign, Il, the Salt Fork River Art Festival, the Champaign Downtown Festival of the Arts, Secolari, and the Towson Arts Collective.

The majority of my photographs are taken at a family owned flower farm in the Agricultural Reserve in Laytonsville, Maryland. My photography is mostly of flowers from farms in Maryland and also from farmers markets in Maryland, Delaware and Washington, DC. I try to shoot pictures of flowers that are locally grown. I photograph flowers, foliage, grasses, fruits, berries and vegetables.
Sean Hennessey is a mixed media artist primarily working in glass and living in Baltimore Maryland. His interest in art has grown from his interest in history, science, archaeology, and myth. Raised by his grandparents, part of the Greatest Generation, Sean was brought up with a love of old stories by his bibliophile grandmother and raised to work with his hands by his Sheet Metal Worker grandfather. He studied sculpture at Berea College and began his professional career by building and painting sets for the Barter Theatre.
I was born in Baltimore as a first-generation Greek and am a self-taught photographer based in Maryland. My work probes themes of identity and isolation within urban, industrial, and natural spaces. Inherent in my images I believe lies a confrontation between traditional and modern facets of life. I have exhibited my work locally and nationally. Venues include the the Baltimore Museum of Art and the Grimaldis Gallery (Baltimore, MD); Photographic Center Northwest (Seattle WA); Klompching Gallery's Annual "Fresh" Show Online Showcase; and the Houston Center for Photography.
