Christos Palios
I was born in Baltimore as a first-generation Greek and am a self-taught photographer based in Maryland. My work probes themes of identity and isolation within urban, industrial, and natural spaces. Inherent in my images I believe lies a confrontation between traditional and modern facets of life. I have exhibited my work locally and nationally. Venues include the the Baltimore Museum of Art and the Grimaldis Gallery (Baltimore, MD); Photographic Center Northwest (Seattle WA); Klompching Gallery's Annual "Fresh" Show Online Showcase; and the Houston Center for Photography.
laura jenkins
I am an oil painter from the Eastern Shore of Maryland. I paint in the studio as well as en plein air. I have been surrounded by art for as long as I can remember. My grandfather was Dutch and his family in Holland were all painters. My father was gifted as an artist later in years, as well as my mother, so I am fortunate to have been exposed at a young age, not only to painting, but music, literature and dance.
Joanna Barnum
Joanna Barnum uses watercolor to express universal emotional states and the unique spirits of her portrait subjects, balancing experimental, abstract use of the media with sensitive realism and symbolism.
Stefany Fisher
I began painting when I was seventeen, only interested in expressing my emotions.  Through these expressions, a passion grew.  Twelve+ years later this passion has strengthened and is still going (and growing) strong.   I was born in Ohio and raised in Delaware.  Since, I have lived many areas, including Miami where my daughter was born.  I love to travel and have extensive conversations about art.  I hold degrees in Graphic Design and am a self-taught painter.   Give me a canvas and I will go wild!
Kate Miller
Raised in Wheaton, Maryland, I recently relocated to Hagerstown, Maryland after 25 years in Ohio, and am retired after working many years as a graphic artist.  My main interest is in painting portraits of live sitters, and I am available for commissions. When I don't have sitters available I work on still lifes, and have also done quite a few self-portraits. Some of my more recent portraits were begun with a sitting and finished from photographs. I worked in acrylics in my 20's but since then have used oils, often with a quick-drying medium. Member of TAG/The Artists Gallery in Frederick.
Edelweiss Calcagno
My primary interest is in abstract art and I use a variety of techniques in painting, printmaking and sculpture and all kinds of material, including recycled ones, in order to convey my ideas. I explore how the intersection of different planes and line shapes can create illusions within distorted shapes, objects, letters, and words.
