Dr. Laura Armstrong is a faculty member of Mount St. Mary’s University and Frederick Community College, where she teaches clarinet, saxophone, and music fundamentals. She has performed in recitals in the Mid-Atlantic region and has performed as a soloist at the International Clarinet Association’s Clarinet Fest held in Ostend, Belgium in 2018.
A self taught artist living in Maryland, USA. Studied graphic design and designed various works including book covers, event flyers, brochures, banners for AMC in different capacities. Khan had an artistic mind ever since young. During school her notebooks were filled with doodles. When coloring with markers did not satisfy her as a child, she started using things around the house which would do the job. Things like food coloring, fabric dyes and spices such as turmeric etc., Khan realized that she prefers hands on work over graphic design. Hence, got back into painting.
