They range from purely abstract to those that are often evocative of nature: land, sky, and sea. She earned an MFA (Painting) and a BFA (Photography) from Maryland Institute College of Art (MICA).
After a successful career as a portrait, advertising and real estate photographer, Patty Hill has come full circle and is finally engaging in her long-time desire of being a fine art photographer.
Patty is known for her incredible ability to capture the simplest of subjects, then turning them into compelling works of art. This is obvious by the numerous galleries of fine art imagery she now offers for purchase. Many of these images are of the last 15 years of Patty’s photography career that have never been published.
I love to paint! Period. Although I won the annual art award my senior year in high school (long long ago), "life" got in the way of my pursuing an art career. When I turned 60 I just decided to start; to learn as best I could. I am a member of the "It's never to late to start club". Thank goodness for the internet - so many wonderful art videos available.
