I graduated Earlham College in 1988 with a degree in Biology and a minor in Ceramics. My ceramics has actually constituted a larger part of my career than the biology, but my work reflects both adequately. I pursue explorations in texture and pattern in much of my studio production, and have a very unique method I developed for making natural expression tiles and mosaics, sculptures, and vessels.

The Clustered Spires Chorus is a chapter of Sweet Adelines International, an organization of women who perform quality a capella music in the barbershop style. It offers women of all ages the opportunity for personal fulfillment through music, education, performance, and individual growth. We provide quality entertainment, fostering a welcoming, encouraging and fun environment. As an integral part of the Frederick community, we engage in outreach by sharing the beauty of four-part harmony and creating lasting connections through positive impact.
Artspiration Frederick is a community artist space in Frederick, MD, dedicated to supporting artists of all mediums. We focus on fostering community engagement, ensuring that everyone in the community has the opportunity to participate, create, and connect through the arts.
Vinay Kalachar is an award‑winning sculptor and multidisciplinary artist based in Frederick, Maryland. Working in clay and stone alongside oil, acrylic, watercolor, and mixed‑media painting, he makes work that bridges figurative and realist traditions with modern and contemporary vocabularies. Trained from age six by his father and mentor Shilpi R. Kalachar, a national award‑winning sculptor in India, Vinay’s practice is grounded in a lineage of craft and close technical apprenticeship.
Lucy School is an independent, arts-based school serving children ages three through eighth grade. Ron Batcher has been capturing photos from the time he got his hands on a Polaroid Camera back in the 1980s as a child. Ron has always had a passion for art for as long as he can remember. Drawing, sketching, painting, and photography have been the foundation for honing his skills for the perfect composition. Residing in Knoxville, Maryland, he remains dedicated to capturing the breathtaking views, architecture, and nature that our world has to offer.
Vidushi Thejashwini Ramarao is the director of Padma Paadam School of Performing Arts Inc., Maryland. Hailing from Mysuru, Karnataka, she brings over 34 years of experience in Bharatanatyam as an artist, instructor, choreographer, and scriptwriter. She trained in the Mysuru style under Guru Smt. Pankaja Ramakrishnaih and further refined her skills in the Pandanalluru style under Dr. Kripa Phadke.
I am Trent, a current UMBC student with a background in programming making 3D models and animations to be used in video games. My favorite software to work with is Blender because I can accomplish a lot of tasks without leaving it. I wish to personally create professional game characters. With my art I want to carry the visual storytelling of a game in a similar way to the game artists I came across during my childhood.
