Katie Loebach
Katie Loebach (b. Gaithersburg MD) is currently a double major in Art and Art History at St Mary’s College of Maryland. She draws from her knowledge of art history to create art around women’s sexuality. Her inspirations date back to the pre-historic time, as she uses the Venus of Willendorf as one of the key works of art that inspires her rounded form. She thinks about ways in which women were portrayed as sexual objects, and creates art that begs the question- can women be sexual while having their own autonomy?
keith kozloff
My interest in photography began around the time of my 13th birthday, when I received a “Yashica A”, which is a twin lens reflex film camera whose exposure I set manually using a hand held light meter, and which produced 2 ¼ inch square negatives.  I built a black and white darkroom in my parent’s basement.  Since my exploration of photography began in monochrome, I became used to visualizing potential subject matter in grey tones.
Deborah Sternberg
DEBORAH STERNBERG, described by critics as a “spine-tingling soprano” (Ben Demers, DC Theatre Scene), is praised for her flexibility, stage presence, and radiance of tone. Recent performances include art songs of Lili and Nadia Boulanger with Cantate Chamber Singers and Washington Master Chorale, respectively; duet recital Orpheus with a new chamber ensemble; featured soloist with the National Symphony Orchestra’s Play! A Video Game Symphony at Wolf Trap; and recitals for the Friday Morning Music Club and the Penn Alps music series.
Gwendalin Aranya
Born in Brooklyn, and raised in Allentown, Pennsylvania, I have been an artist ever since I can remember. My mother was an artist, and I was blessed with a very creative and artistic childhood. Among my earliest memories I recall sitting behind my mother as she painted, I was drawing, copying her. This was a routine. Together we also wallpapered our walls by creating collages on our walls. Later my mother taught me techniques she learned in her art classes in college, and we drew and painted together, everywhere.
