Stephanie Scott earned her B.A. in Studio Art with a minor in Educational Studies from St. Mary’s College of Maryland and both an A.A. in Art and a Letter of Recognition in Digital Imaging from the College of Southern Maryland.

I am a current undergraduate student at Notre Dame of Maryland University in Baltimore (Class of 2018). I like to paint using oils and watercolors as well as drawing illustrations in pen and ink. I also like to work with both film and digital photography.
Alan Frampton was born in Hemel Hempstead, England. He has a BA in Art from St Mary’s College of Maryland (SMCM) and an A.A. in Letters and Humanities from the College of Southern Maryland (CSM). Alan has also taken intensive ceramics workshops at Alfred University in New York. His creative practice focuses in printmaking, drawing and ceramics. He has had work selected for exhibition at the Brooklyn Waterfront Artist’s Coalition, the College of Southern Maryland, and St. Mary’s College of Maryland with additional work shown at Annmarie Garden Art Center and Sculpture Garden.
Carrie Patterson, is a Professor of Art at St. Mary's College of Maryland. She is Department Chair of Art and Art History and is the recipient of the Steven Muller Distinguished Professorship in the Arts. With over two decades of experience making artwork, she has dedicated her time to a daily perceptual painting and drawing practice that engages her mind and body in building a creative life. Patterson earned her BFA in Studio Art from James Madison University and an MFA in painting from The University of Pennsylvania.
While attending St. Mary’s College of Maryland, Hailley has been studying a range of art mediums and practices. Throughout her undergrad education Hailleys primary art medium practice is through painting. She focuses on capturing animal forms with human characteristics. While painting these animals, Hailley reflects on past experiences and emotions that can be translated into animal figures. With the use of color theory, Hailley practices placing color relationships throughout the surface of the canvas making it cohesive.
Ashley Scherer will receive her B.A. from St. Mary’s College of Maryland, June 2019 with an art major and education minor. She has exhibited her work since 2013 in a variety of locations ranging from Colonial Beach and Baltimore, Maryland to Virginia. Although Scherer’s work varies in two dimensional art such as painting, collage and mixed media her work is primarily graphite pencil drawings that focuses on social commentary by analyzing sociocultural factors.
Michelle Cape (b. West Monroe, LA) lives and works in Hollywood, MD. She earned her A.A. in Art from Coastal Carolina Community College in Jacksonville, NC. She is currently working towards her B.A. in Art at St. Mary’s College of Maryland. Cape’s work has been exhibited in North Carolina at Coastal Carolina Community College in The Student Art Show. Her work was also exhibited in The 37th and 38th Annual Public Art Exhibition in Onslow County, NC where in 2015 she received an award of Honorable Mention.
