Angela M Wathen
Born in Washington D.C. in the late sixties, I grew up commuting back and forth between the city and my Grandparents second home on the Patuxent River. I loved spending the summer on the river with my Grandparents and cousins, although I never realized just how much until I grew up. As a child my life had many layers within my family and as I grew older it became layers about friends and events. In the present the layers include my past with my present along with my spiritual believes of what was and what is.
Steve Rands
Art has been a part of my life since childhood. It emerged as a special gift in an elementary school drawing competition, and evolved consistently through high school. Upon graduating, I explored various art schools, but was deterred by the prospect of incurring mountains of student debt while lacking a voice, and confidence in myself.
